Title: Nappe (water flowing over a dam)
This is one of eight projects by Iowa artists located throughout greater Des Moines, Iowa on view during September/October 2011. The artwork is constructed of more than 10,000 cable ties and speaks of the transformation of ordinary materials into extraordinary structures as well as the transformation of man-made materials into structure that evoke the senuous beauty of nature.
